UNOFFICIAL VS OFFICIAL
At TT 2023, there were many instances of "unofficial lap records" during qualifying week, but what makes a lap or a race record official? Only those recorded during a race are official, so any record breaking speeds or lap times achieved during qualifying week don't count.
