100 DAYS TO GO UNTIL TT 2023
Entries for the 2023 Isle of Man TT Races have now closed and with every solo class oversubscribed once more, it’s a star-studded list of riders who will take on the TT Mountain Course in just 100 days’ time.
In the solo classes, 9 former race winners with a combined total of 83 victories star, whilst there are a further 6 that have also graced the TT rostrum, sharing a staggering 207 podium appearances between them.
2023 will see nine former TT winners take to the start line
As expected, all of the fastest riders from 2022 return and, in total, 14 riders entered for TT 2023 have previously lapped in excess of the fabled 130mph barrier. The top 20 in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior classes all hold personal best lap speeds of over 126mph.
A total of 32 riders have already lapped at more than 125mph, further highlighting the quality and strength in depth this year, and almost all of the entry have previously broken the 120mph barrier.
16 nationalities will be represented across the Superbike, Superstock, Supersport and Supertwin categories featuring riders from Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Australasia.
Countries represented include England, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, USA, Australia, Japan and South Africa, with further European representation coming from Austria, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Finland.
101 podiums and 36 victories from competitors entered in the 2023 TT Races
The Sidecar entry features 6 former TT winners who share a total of 36 victories. 10 former podium finishers have an impressive 101 podiums between them, with a total of 12 drivers having already lapped over the class benchmark of 110mph.
