HISTORIC JUNIOR TT

HISTORIC JUNIOR TT

The Historic Junior TT Race is a representation of TT racing from the 60’s and early 70’s; a time when the event was part of the Motorcycle World Championship, the forerunner to today’s MotoGP series.

The Junior class is the Moto 2 or Supersport of its day; the middleweight class which like today, always promises close and exciting racing.

The classic British brands of the era still feature strongly, with Norton’s and AJS’s in particular well represented in this class alongside the Italian MV Agusta’s, Ducati’s and Aermacchi’s.

But it is the 350cc Honda that generally dominates this class in historic racing today, definitely in terms of availability, but also often in terms of performance.

With no pit-stops required, the Historic Junior TT Races is a simple three-lap dash to the flag.
