HICKMAN UNVEILS GAS MONKEY GARAGE SPECIAL

There’s a new look for Peter Hickman’s 2022 Isle of Man TT Races assault as his FHO Racing team join forces with the iconic US custom car company, Gas Monkey Garage.

The 5-time TT champ and outright lap record holder pulled the covers off his all-new Gas Monkey Garage by FHO Racing BMW M1000RR in a whistle-stop trip to the Isle of Man with customising king, Richard Rawlings.

Hickman will pilot the Gas Monkey Garage by FHO Racing BMW M1000RR in the Superbike, Superstock, and Senior Races

The partnership will see the Gas Monkey brand adorn Hickman’s bikes for the RST Superbike, RL360 Superstock, and Milwaukee Senior TT Races.

After founding the Gas Monkey Garage back in 2004, Rawlings shot to fame as the star of reality TV show, Fast N’ Loud. The entrepreneur based out of Dallas, Texas has gone on to support 4-wheeled competitors in single-seaters and top-fuel drag racing, as well as a Supercross team in the world of 2-wheels, but the partnership with Hickman and the FHO Racing team is the brand’s first foray into the world of road racing. And, as is the way for Rawlings and the Gas Monkey team, it’s go big or go home:

For Hickman, the partnership represents the opportunity to stake his claim as the current ‘King of the Mountain’ after a two-year COVID hiatus and mechanical issues halted his charge to Senior TT glory back in 2019. The fastest ever man around the TT Mountain Course will surely arrive to the Isle of Man as hot favourite in just a few months’ time…
