TRAVELLING TO THE GRANDSTAND AND PADDOCK

When visiting the TT you may want to spend your day at the Grandstand and surrounding areas, where you'll be able to explore the buzzing atmosphere of the paddock, soak up the entertainment and eateries available in the Fan Park or grab a front row ticket to the startline and pit lane action with Grandstand seats.

The good news is, if you are wanting to spend your days in the heart of the action, there are plenty of ways to travel to the TT Grandstand and Paddock.

TRAVELLING BY CAR - ST GEORGE’S CAR PARK

If you’re travelling by car there is free public parking available in St George’s, off Dukes Avenue. There will be a temporary traffic management system in place, so if you are planning to use this car park you should follow the access route along Victoria Road, turning up Victoria Avenue before continuing left onto Upper Dukes Street and then turning right into Dukes Avenue. 

If you are planning to use St George’s Car Park, you should be aware that there will be no access to Dukes Avenue via Glencrutchery road, as this section of the road will be closed throughout the duration of the TT with access retained for Police Vehicle access only. 

Stewards will be on hand to manage the flow of traffic and guide you to the TT Grandstand and Paddock. A map showing details of how to access the St George’s Car Park site can be found here.

MOTORCYCLE PARKING & PERMIT HOLDERS - NOBLE’S PARK CAR PARK

If you are travelling to the TT Grandstand and Paddock by Motorcycle you should use Noble’s Park Car Park. 

Noble’s Park Car Park is also accessible by car if you are a permit holder. This includes Badge holders, Mercury Club Hospitality ticket holders and TT parking pass holders. If you have a qualifying permit you will be able to access Noble’s Park Car Park via St Ninian’s Road where there will be a parking lane in place, with stewards on-hand to manage the traffic flow..

If you are using Noble’s Park Car Park, you should be aware that during TT, traffic will be one-way down St Ninian’s Road and will also be one-way on Marathon Drive to ensure a continuous flow of traffic.

In addition to the Blue Badge holder parking in Noble’s Park Car Park, there are also additional spaces for Blue Badge holders in St George’s Car Park. 

Parking at the TT Grandstand and Paddock complex is as always limited, and you are encouraged to plan your journey and to use the public transport routes available where possible to minimise delays. 

TRAVELLING BY BUS

During TT, you will also be able to benefit from the addition of special bus services that run to iconic locations around the Mountain Course. If you’re wishing to access the TT Grandstand and Paddock complex by bus there is the TT1 service that operates from the South of the Island, in addition to the TT6 and TT3 that commence from Lord Street, Douglas with stops at the TT Grandstand and Paddock Complex on route. These services link to a wider network of connecting routes across the Island.

The bus services are simple to use, just hop on and say where you want to get off (“One to the Grandstand please”) then pay via cash, contactless or a ‘Go Card’ that gives you unlimited travel around the Island.

TRAVELLING BY TAXI

If you are planning to travel to the TT Grandstand and Paddock by taxi. There is a taxi drop-off and pick-up point  situated in Noble’s Park and that is accessible to taxis via the traffic flow from St Ninian’s Road.
